Texts from God

As a Christian, sometimes we have these moments where we just know we need to do something, or say something to someone without even knowing why. Those are my God moments. I have been recently experiencing what I have coined "Texts from God". I will be sitting in random places, and God will lay something on my heart that I need to share. I will put His message into text form, and select a random pile of people to send it to.  They always seem to reach the right person. I love doing this for God. As St. Mother Teresa said, "I am but a little pencil in the hand of a writing God sending a love letter to the world". I will gladly be His pencil.

My first Text from God

Dear Friends,
I hope that this reaches someone. I am not sure who, I am sitting in the parking lot; but one of you may need to hear what has been laid on my heart. If it is not, please pay it forward. I love each and every one of you and am so thankful for the blessings you have brought into my life. You have given me hope, encouragement, and restoration. God has uniquely placed each of you right at the exact moment that I have needed you, and I pray that I return the favor when you need me.

Sometimes as Christians we find ourselves oceans apart from the things we love most, including God. Someone special to me once explained to me why this sometimes happens. We often times symbolize ourselves or our lives as a boat in this vast ocean. Sometimes the water is calm, beautiful, rough, scary and uncontrollable or worse unpredictable. But we have an anchor. God is the anchor that allows us to drift, it is up to us to decide how far, and He loves you so much that you can do just that. No matter if you feel so distant that you may never find yourself back to the anchor- God will pull you back. He has tied Himself to you forever. Things happen that are out of our control- or we may find ourselves in a situation that we could have handled differently, or feel there is no resolution, no matter the case God is waiting, patiently and lovingly. Remember, nothing you can do or say will ever change the way God feels about you! You are His perfect love. Don't let circumstances of this life prohibit you from experiencing Gods amazing love, and the abundance He has for you! Once you bring yourself back to the anchor- you will find that oceans become puddles, maybe even raindrops.

Matthew 11:28-30
"Come to me all who are burdened and heavy laden, I will give you peace."

ps. Its that easy!
